Events will be conducted with recurve bows and compound bows for boys and girls. Each of the competitions will have 32 archers in the draw and will comprise a series of elimination matches leading to medal matches. There are four gold, four silver and four bronze medals at stake.

Competitions will be held in singles and doubles events for boys and girls from February 5 to 8 in the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

The Khelo India School Games badminton competition will be played on knockout format with draws of 32 in singles and 16 pairs in doubles. There are four gold, four silver and four bronze medals at stake.

Gymnastics

There will be 51 medals at stake in seven boys and 10 girls’ events in the Khelo India School Games gymnastics competitions in the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium from February 6 to 8, 2018.

The girls will compete in five artistic and five rhythmic gymnastics events. All the gymnasts will participate in the qualifying competition where the individual All-Around championships and the eight finalists for each individual apparatus.

The Judo competitions will be held in the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium from February 5 to 8, 2018.

There are eight weight categories each for boys and girls, leading to 64 medals in all. The draw for each weight category will feature 16 judokas. They will be divided in four league pools, the winners qualifying for the knockout rounds. The repechage system will be followed for the bronze medals.

As many as 33 gold medals will be up for grabs in the Khelo India School Games swimming competitions at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool Complex from Febrruary 1 to 4, 2018.

There are 17 events for boys and 16 for girls, each of which feature 16 swimmers. There are 99 medals on offer for 528 competitors.

The field events and the two walk events will be held as finals without a qualifying round. Athletes are allowed to take part in two individual events and a relay. There are 108 medals on offer in athletics.

A dozen medals are up for grabs in the 10m air rifle and 10m air pistol events for boys and girls in the Khelo India School Games shooting competition from February 1 to 4, 2018 at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Ranges Complex in Tughlakabad.

Each of the four events will feature 16 shooters each. The top eight in the qualification rounds (60 shots for boys and 40 shots for girls) will advance to the finals.
